Animal Problems in Garden City, Michigan
Animal problems are more common in Garden City, Michigan than you might think.
I have a raccoon, (I think) under my house. I have a very small crawlspace and about a foot size opening to the crawl space. I can hear scratching and knocking around under my floor at night. I can stomp on the floor and it will not stop or interrupt the animal. I really need to get it out from under my house. -Jaden B
In past month noticed soft spots around our waterfall& pond area & on same side of house but on side front yard. As many as 6-8 in each area. Then noticed one area w/ an open hole in flower bed & flooded w/water then another place showed up across front in a flower bed. Had a mound on the side of driveway but never saw anything or more activity until now. Its moles or gophers I guess. -Jeff A
Maintenance man went in attic to check to a leak on roof because an apartment bedroom had a water like stain. He discovered bats were in the gable end hanging from louvers but there is a screen to prevent them from getting in the attic, but there is a big pile of bat droppings on the insulation and looks like it may have soaked through the sheetrock because there is not a leak in the roof. -Ashleigh W
We solve many types of wildlife control conflicts in Garden City and surrounding areas. Give us a call if you need expert animal removal and/or live wildlife trapping. We can also perform an inspection of your property to evaluate the problem. Many of the projects we solve involve raccoon families in attics and chimneys, mud swallow nests on stucco, woodpeckers drilling siding, voles and gophers destroying lawns, rats or squirrels thumping and bumping around inside walls and in attics, bat infestations, skunks stealing pet food and snakes living in crawlspaces and stone walls.
Along with physical damage and disease, wild animals also bring along disturbance and nuisance with all their noise and commotion and smell. Baby raccoons chirp and chitter like little birds; raccoons and rats will fight all night and keep people awake; skunk smell takes the cake, but have you ever smelled a dead animal in your ventilation system? We have seen much, much more than these problems, but that is a general idea of the kinds of problems that my professional wildlife removal operators and I are prepared to solve.
Not only do my technicians and I trap and remove problem wild animals, we do a lot of other dirty work, too. Don't hesitate to call us for dead animal removal, pigeon waste cleanup, bat guano removal, mouse droppings, decontamination, repairs, above ground and below ground rodent slick fencing, odor control for skunk spray, and the like. We are a full service pest control company with a wide range of animal control solutions.
I have been in the professional wildlife control business for many years. My favorite stories and experiences are removing bats from schools and churches.

Wildlife in Garden City, Michigan
The locals have been seeing wildlife up close and personal in Garden City, Michigan.
There is a downy woodpecker (there may be others) that is on my neighbor’s property every day eating suet. He has caused damage to my house’s cedar siding when we were out. I can bat a mop at him when we are home before he causes more damage but the neighbor won’t do anything to get rid of him. He does nothing to stop the pecking and has told us that he doesn’t care. But I do! I want it gone! -Abby C
An area of soffit overhang on the 2nd floor of our home has been ripped open and insulation pulled out and laying on the garage roof that meets the peak and soffit of the 2nd floor. A roofer has come out to look at repair and feels it is a raccoon that is inside our 2nd floor attic at this point. This occurred less than a week ago and we are trying to get rid of the critter and then have the roofer fix the soffit. -Porter P
